DONE WITH MY FIRST TRIMESTER, THANK GOD!

Time flies so fast. I’ve finished my first trimester already and I am on my way to my second trimester.

God has been so good; I never experienced any difficulties during my first trimester. Aside from pimples/acne break out (yikes!), being tired and always sleepy, I never had any other issues. So far, all my blood test and urinalysis (laboratory) to monitor my sugar, thyroid, iron, hemoglobin etc. etc…. are all good as per my doctor.

I thanked God because although I am on my advanced age, I didn’t encounter any huge problems on my pregnancy so far. I pray that this would go on until I deliver our baby J.

Now on my second trimester, I find it difficult to sleep because of my sleeping position. I looked at the internet and they mostly advise that a person especially pregnant woman should sleep on their left side to regulate the flow of blood to the placenta and not to burden the liver. This is hard for me because I am used to sleeping on my back. I hope that I can get used to this position, as it will benefit me and the baby. I also go to the bathroom very often and it disturbs my sleep (Zzzz…). That is why I don’t have continuous sleep that makes me feel sluggish the next day.

I am still learning more about pregnancy. There’s a lot to learn and I should be more diligent especially now. But I thanked God that He is providing me with people that helps me along the way. If I have questions, I can immediately come to them for advices.

How about you? How was your first trimester? They say that every pregnancy is different. Maybe you have a different experience from mine. You are free to share your experiences here and I would appreciate your advice for me and for all moms-to-be.

God bless us more J
